Nir Eyal 2: Making Indistractibility A Habit

Nir Eyal's life's work has two bookends: helping technology designers develop products that are habit-forming, and helping individuals understand the forces that distract and misdirect them. Sound like cross purposes? Not as much as you'd think. Nir's first book, the globally-successful "Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products" and his newest title "Indistractible: How to Control Your Attention and Choose Your Life" both involve cultivating an understanding of how our own minds work to choose our behavior and form activity patterns over time.

As in his books, Nir shares specific, actionable techniques for hacking our cognitive processes to prioritize the right activities, stay focused on completing goals, and staying accountable and motivated over time- making indistractibility a habit.
