About Rip Van: We are a food innovation company on a mission to improve people’s lives by creating better foods. We do this by inventing foods that are convenient, healthier & delicious. Our innovation philosophy is to constantly improve our products and launch these revamped iterations in two year cycles. We do this by applying the latest food science research to push the bounds of health, taste & design in our products. Our first product, Rip Van Wafels is a better-for-you indulgent snack, available in 7 flavors and is carried in 12,000 Starbucks locations nationwide.

Rip co-founded Rip Van, a food company re-inventing today’s most widely consumed convenient foods. Started in a dorm room at Brown University, his company is currently selling its first product Rip Van Wafels in major accounts including, Starbucks, American Airlines and tech companies nationwide. Rip was on the Forbes ’16 and Inc ’18 30 under 30 lists holds a Bachelor in Applied Mathematics & Economics in college. He’s passionate about creating products that will make a positive impact on our culture and our future. When he is not traveling and selling healthier snack wafels, you can find him rock climbing or reading about the future.

He believes in the pursuit of living better every day and creating products to help do so.When he is not growing the team, you can find him reading books about philosophy or on a motorcycle traveling abroad.
